“We booked a 2 Hour outdoor Orienteering Party for 7yr olds located at Lough Lannagh Holiday Village, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

The indoor facilities at the Conference Centre were superb, we were welcomed by the friendly staff, the rooms were comfortable and warm and perfect for learning how to map read before heading outdoors to put the theory into practise.

The Orienteering was graded from easy around the safe environment of the Tennis course to the hard stuff around the Holiday Village but the kids loved the challenge and were tearing around looking for the targets to punch their cards.

We had ordered food to be delivered and we were catered for in the Greenway Café which was also warm and comfortable.

We were lucky with the day, it was cold and dry but bring wellingtons and a change of clothing just in case they are required.

It was a different experience from the usual Funsters and everyone had a great time out in the fresh air, getting some exercise and having fun.

It was very well organised and prepared by Jarlath who was great craic with the kids.
